It’s unfair. Perhaps I’m being emotional about it, but what is the issue of a female travelling. Females are perceived to be incapable of handling heavy items and carrying them. Such perception had closed several opportunities for me to travel overseas for work purposes.
I believe that these experiences would make me more independent. “Never!”, I would have responded to a question of whether I would be comfortable sleeping in a hotel room on my own. The past one working year had subtlely built up my courage and confidence to do that. Travel alone, be independent. Stressed? Deal with it and because of the urgency, it’d be over very quickly. And after that, you would pat yourself on the shoulder, relieved that you did it.
I still think it’s unfair - no matter which way I think about it :(

Form of distraction
Television, visual images moving around is a form a distraction. This movie was awesome. It was really really really sweet. So many scenes which were really really really touching. Father-daughter’s love. Romance.
Then there was premiere for Amazing Race, which I didn’t really have the mood to watch after an hour. Not cos of the show, but ya..
I’m trying my best to learn each time I place this on.
And “Next time you go blade yourself” is what I got.
Fridays
What’s the point of me keeping Fridays free anymore?
I’m only worth just that few minutes of breakfasts or lunches or dinners. While others are worth 5 days of 8+ hours, and an additional bonus time of Fridays evening. How sweet~
P/S: Come to think of it, I was not privileged to that few minutes of lunch this afternoon as well. Well, busy? Busy enough not to drop an sms like “Can’t meet you for lunch today. Busy” -shrugs-
